All donations made to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) Sonora Lodge are put directly into the Sonora Odd Fellows Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.  Funds are used for one of two purposes at the donor's discretion: efforts to preserve and share the historic IOOF Sonora Cemetery and/or efforts to support the lodge's mission of supporting our community's current and former foster youth, sick, and the elderly.   Donors may also choose to help with a specific event.  Your donation, your choice.

Sonora IOOF is grateful for each and every donation, regardless of amount.

No goods or services can be received by the donor for the donation.

We cannot thank you enough for your support!

IOOF Sonora has always been a charitable organization committed to providing services to our local county citizens.  The Sonora Odd Fellows Foundation was started to provide donors with the confidence their donations are used exactly the way they intended, as well as to offer the charitable foundation's 501(c)(3) number in the event the donor requires a certificate or letter to verify the tax deductible donation.

IOOF Sonora is one of the oldest community service organizations in the county, having been estabished in 1853. Sonora IOOF believes communities should take care of each other, and we provided services to further our original mission to: educate orphans (now current and former foster youth), to take care of the sick and elderly, and to bury the dead, as IOOF was established long before social services programs existed to do so.

Sonora IOOF remains committed to the philosophy of taking care of each other, and holds fundraisers and events to raise funds to provide those services to the less fortunate in our community.
